Walter and Skylar. Walter was our first New Cal Gecko, and he’s our favorite. He lost a piece of his tail on picture day, and it had been intact for years up to that point. We love him dearly. He’s chill. Sklyar is a b*tch.
While these two don’t typically make super spotted or high end geckos, the do make affordable sara babies. And to those who say that Saras don’t have different eye genetics, take a look at these.
SP2
Hank and Jessie. Fun fact: When we got Jessie, we thought she was a girl, so we named her Skylar. Then we thought she had balls, so we renamed her Jessie. Turns out Jessie is a girl, and we think it still fits the theme. These two are good examples of the Caramello line from South Tex Gex (Carl Vargas). We love this line!
Saul
Saul is really sweet and beautiful. He’s getting paired with most of our harem when they come of age.
Gus
This guy is super dark. We couldn’t get him fully fired for the pictures. When he’s fired up he is a very difficult sara to photograph and just looks black as night. We can’t wait for him to grow up and add him to the breeding projects.
The Harem
These are our holdbacks. Some we hope to start producing in 2026, and others in 2027.
Pat
We don’t know if Pat is a girl or a boy yet (iykyk). This animal came from Tiki’s Geckos on a Palm Live. He still rightfully complains that we stole this sara. We’ll see if he will ever sell them on palm again. We are 🥰
